We are proud to announce our association with Taylor Guitars as a new authorized dealer for the best guitar on the planet.  We make this confident statement from our experiences in the repair shop and knowledge of guitar building.  With over 30 years engaged in maintenance, repair and restoration of every possible manufactured guitar we have yet to encounter a Taylor guitar that required extensive work due to normal playing and aging.  Most manufacturers can build a guitar that looks good and plays okay the day you buy it but Bob Taylor is one of a few luthiers who has and is continually seeking to build a guitar that will stay that way.  The fact that Taylor guitars actually play better, sound better, perform better and will do so for a lifetime is a tribute to his philosophy of guitar building.  The fact that Taylor guitars look so stunning is nothing less than his gift as an artist.  Here at the Blue Guitar you will find a true passion for these instruments and if you just give us the chance we can show you why Taylor guitars can be so contagious.  Please, stop by and try one soon.

This web page will be dedicated solely to the world of Taylor guitars and  our currently available stock.  If you don't see the model you've been looking for please, give us a call it may be on the way.  Additionally, we would be delighted in working with you on any special order instruments you might be considering.  We will not sell a box with a guitar in it like some, our guarantee to you is that every Taylor guitar we sell has been thoroughly examined, adjusted to your specifications and approved by our in house luthier,  me.

Sincerely,

Jeff Bush, owner/luthier

Lowest Price Guarantee On Taylor Guitars!

200 Series:  With a solid sapele body, Sitka spruce top, and ebony fretboard and bridge, the 200 Series makes the solid-wood Taylor acoustic guitar experience more accessible than ever. Scalloped bracing delivers the Taylor steel-string tone, and black fiber binding, dot inlays, and wood fiber rosette contribute to a smart appearance, all protected by a hardshell case.  Add the ES Blue on acoustic electric models for complete amplification capabilities.

2006 Taylor 214e:  With the ES Blue amplification system, this affordably-price, all solid wood Dreadnought can now be plugged-in to further enhance the Taylor playing experience.

300 Series:  Solid African mahogany backs and sides and gloss-finished Sitka spruce tops provide a clear, balanced tone, while wood fiber binding, pearl fretboard inlays, and chrome Taylor tuners streamline the look. The Expression System pickup, now standard on all acoustic electric models, makes the 300 Series a great introduction to premium-quality, American-made, solid wood acoustic guitars.

2006 Taylor 310ce:  A Venetian cutaway adds dimension to classic Dreadnought styling, while the distinctive tone of African mahogany is faithfully amplified via the Taylor Expression System™.

2006 Taylor 354ce:  The best of both worlds: this medium-sized Grand Auditorium offers the powerful sound and feel of a true 12-string, in a more intimate body style.

400 Series:  Guitars in the 400 Series boast backs and sides of solid ovangkol, an African tonewood with olive-brown coloration, intensely varied grain, and rosewood-like tone. Features include a solid, gloss-finished Sitka spruce top, white fiber binding, an ebony fretboard inlaid with pearl dots, and the Expression System pickup, now standard on all acoustic electric models.

On The Way!

500 Series:  In the 500 Series, elegance meets a clean, dynamic response. Rosewood borders the solid Tropical American mahogany body and Hawaiian koa is hand-inlaid into the rosette. Engelmann or Sitka spruce tops produce a warm, mature tone. We substitute a Western Red cedar top on the 514ce acoustic electric to make it an even more responsive fingerstyle powerhouse.

2006 Taylor 510ce:  Dreadnought power, rich mid-range, access to the upper register, and the Taylor Expression System® give this mahogany cutaway a full, well-defined presence.

600 Series:  Controlled overtones and a balanced response make the 600 Series ideal for recording and live performance. Colorful finishes, including a striking new cherry/black sunburst, add drama to maple’s alluring natural figure. Add the Expression System pickup on acoustic electric models and you have powerful guitars with stunning stage presence.

2006 Taylor 614ce:  The bold sounds of Big Leaf maple and Sitka spruce are enhanced by our Grand Auditorium body design.

700 Series:  In the Taylor 700 Series, backs and sides of solid Indian rosewood find their perfect complement in rosewood binding, Hawaiian koa rosette, small pearl dots, and gold Taylor tuners. Rosewood’s deep, rich tone meets its ideal counterpart in the spruce top, also available in a magnificent Tobacco Sunburst finish. It’s a simple, elegant expression of classic acoustic guitar construction.

2006 Taylor 710ce:  With the addition of the Taylor Expression System® and cutaway, this Indian rosewood Dreadnought exhibits a rich, full tone with the versatility needed for live performances. (pictures soon)

T5 Series:  Taylor T5 Electric Guitars — The next generation of electric guitar is here. Take your tone from crunchy electric to strumming acoustic and everything in between, using the T5's proprietary humbucking pickups and body sensor. It's pure analog tone for today’s guitar player, with no catches and no compromises.

2006 Taylor T5-C1:  A fully-hollow sapele body meets your choice of a spruce, figured maple, or figured Hawaiian koa top, making the Taylor T5 as irresistible as it is inspiring. Gold-plated hardware and the T5 Custom's Artist inlay add even more appeal and depth, as you explore endless acoustic and electric tones.
